Reasonable price and water is beautiful
I've been camping here for the past 5 years and police presence and prices have increased. There is no need for police too WALK around in the dark! This campsite has now become a revenue trap for newaygo county I will absolutely not spend another penny at this campground. It was fun while it lasted. Thanks big bend for the previously good memories.
Our family has been camping here 5 to 7 times a year. Memorial weekend we made reservations ahead as usual. 3 sites 2 docks. We all had a. Great. Time. B. U. T. When I called to reserve for July 4. Weekend. I was told that we we. Banned from the park for noise. Cussing and disrespecting the park care giver. Even though we told them it was not us. 12 adults and 3 children will agree it was not us. But the group to our right. Still banned. The park can not even remember the camp site numbers or my last name. To clear our reputation. I now am going to the 0camp board meeting, with whiteness to prove the issue was not our family. We love this campground, but to be accused and banned for something we did not do without even a verbal or written notice of proof. Is. T. O. T. A. L. B. U. L. L. Meeting is on tues. I. Post the results. As of now. Not a good place to bring your kids.

Quite a fine park. Not the best maintenance. But really should get a recycling service.
