This is my first year at Woods and Waters and our family enjoys it. We have two young children and there is always plenty for them to do. There is also enjoyment to be had by adults as well. Older folks would probably prefer back farther in the park vs up towards the activities because it would be quieter, but again, that would be a preference. We are more up front to allow our children easier access to activities. The staff has always been kind and friendly. I have done a lot of camping and there are plus and minuses, just like anywhere else. Keep in mind that it is tough with a park that size to accommodate everyone. However, the people I have come in contact with really enjoy Woods and Water, and so do I!
Friday night was fun and noisy all night. We kept hearing a golf cart all hours of the night which made it hard to sleep. On saturday we were told as others to keep quiet right after the campground party. My husband and I took a walk just after midnight to look for meteors and were told to return to our camp. We were quiet, not intoxicated. I'm not sure what would give them the right to stop a couple from walking!? Don't think they should treat paying customers this way. We heard the golf cart all night again and found it to be the campground employee whom kept patrol all night!
Had lots of fun this weekend my 7 year old was kept very entertained by the crazy chaos weekend. Would definitely come again even if it isn't a crazy weekend with lots of activities. The pool was nice and warm and hot tub was hot oh and so many choices on the ice cream.
We love Woods and Water! We have camped there the last 5 or 6 summers. This last weekend reminded me of why we love it. My son has a peanut allergy and has been very nervous of accidently getting peanuts/peanut butter in his food lately. We went to the lodge for ice cream and Katelyn was working the counter. When we walked up she smiled at my son and said "clean scoop for your peanut allergy right?" It has been months since we've seen them and she remembered him. The owners and staff are great! The campground has tons of activities for families and do a great job keeping the time there fun! Thank you for always being so great!
This is our 3rd year camping at woods and water and we love it! Our first year owning a camper we traveled around to many different camp grounds and decided to become a seasonal here (2nd year now) because the other camp grounds just didn't compare. We have 4 young kids and love how family friendly the park is and how many activities there are for all ages! We've made amazing friendships here and anytime our friends and family come to visit they are consistently impressed! We would recommend this park to anybody! Just call in advance to book holiday weekends and Halloween weekends because they book up fast and have a long waiting list!
